Hurricane center again raises odds for system off Florida coast to develop

Odds have increased for further development of a low pressure area current off Florida’s east coast in the next 3-5 days, the National Hurricane Center said Saturday. The system, which was located about 200 miles east of Daytona Beach on Saturday afternoon, is given a 60% chance of developing into a tropical system, NHC forecasters said.
