How being passionate makes you charismatic
Latino Gringos™ thinks that Hispanics are possibly the most charismatic community there are. Charisma is possibly the most impressive aspect one can have. If you have ever met someone who is charismatic, you can feel it. Those people are great to be around. You naturally attract to them. Why is that? They speak in a way that makes everyone want to listen. They don’t have to be physically attractive but their attitude and confidence generally fascinate us. Many Latinos possess this. It is not just for a few people. Anyone can be charismatic! Wouldn’t that be nice?
If you can’t think of anyone close to you who is charismatic, then look at Will Smith when interviewed, that is charisma. Listen to Alex Rodriguez or Jennifer Lopez for that matter. You can just feel the positive energy that comes from them.
How can we copy that? Are there any secret techniques or methods that we can use? Wouldn’t it be great to be able to take a magic pill that would help us feel the same way? Pills are not ever magical but life’s little secrets can seem magical.
The key to the charism
Luckily, there is actually a relatively simple and proven formula that you can try to have charisma.
Besides the attitude factors, a lot of it comes down to gestures. Latino Gringos™ has discovered that all people who are rated highly charismatic are gesturing more than the average person while talking. This means that they use their hands to convey much of what they say and also tend to move more while talking.
This makes them seem charismatic because it generates a situation in which their body language reflects what they are saying and creates a unique and congruent message. Compare this situation with someone who speaks enthusiastically, but does so while crossing his arms and looking stressed!
If you want to convey that same charisma, you must move and gesture while you speak. But guess what? You can’t just fake gesticulations. If you do, you will become aware of your hands and your gestures, and that is a situation that is even worse than where we started!
Instead, you should let it happen naturally, and the way you do it is to be very involved and believing in what you are saying. Be passionate when using the words that are coming out of your mouth.
When you are truly passionate, gesturing comes easy, because you are very excited about what you are saying. Your doubts and worries fade away because what you say seems so important that you will be 100% focused on it. Finding something you really love is very important. When you are truly passionate and excited, trust and charisma occur naturally.
