  • Wash your hands to stop the spread of germs.
  • Avoid other people’s cigarette and tobacco smoke.
  • Maintain healthy and safe relationships with family and friends.
  • Prepare yourself to face emergencies. Keep a supply kit ready. Prepare a plan and stay informed.

CONTROLLING STRESS

Stress is a natural part of our daily lives. It can be triggered by any matter that demands more of our attention, from working late and getting stuck in traffic, to serious life changes such as death, divorce or illness.

  • Seek a balance between work, home, and recreational activities.
  • Seek support from family and friends.
  • Keep a positive attitude.
  • Take time to relax.

MAKE CHECKS REGULARLY

  • Ask your doctor or nurse how you can reduce the risk of problems of health taking into account your lifestyle and personal background and family members.
  • Find out about the exams and tests that your doctor advises you to take.

Make a medical appointment as soon as you feel sick or in pain, don’t wait. Any problem will usually get worse if you just ignore it. For emergencies go to your medical doctor or Emergency Room.
